Abstract

Nel capitolo si focalizza l'attenzione sulla problematica relativa al global warming e alla intensità e distribuzione della piovosità annuale come eventi che hanno influenzato la viticoltura, costringendo i viticoltori, non abituati in precedenza a ricorrere ad interventi irrigui, ad affrontare questa nuova esigenza. Si pone l'attenzione sugli strumenti e tecniche a disposizione per far sì che l'apporto idrico si imponga come fattore di "qualità" in vigneto sfatando alcuni luoghi comuni che associano a qualsiasi apporto idrico esogeno il connotato di tecnica di forzatura.
