Prove INVALSI: l’opinione di dirigenti scolastici e insegnanti

Abstract

indagano le modalità attraverso cui dirigenti scolastici e insegnanti utilizzano i dati relativi alle indagini su larga scala in modo da supportare e orientare la loro azione didattica, da alcuni studi emerge la scarsa l’attenzione all’uso dei dati INVALSI per ripensare ai processi di istruzione, di apprendimento e di valutazione (Brookhart, 2001). Ciò avviene anche per via della loro impostazione tecnica che fa sì che vengano visti dai professionisti della scuola come dominio esclusivo degli statistici, anziché essere anche per loro uno strumento prezioso di lavoro (Pastore e Freddano, 2017). Inoltre, la pressione esercitata sui docenti ha spesso alimentato opinioni e timori infondati basati sull’idea che gli studenti che ottengono punteggi alti nelle prove sono quelli circondati da insegnanti meritevoli e di successo, e viceversa nel caso opposto, invogliando così a raggiungere performance brillanti nelle prove attraverso però modalità scorrette (teaching to the test e cheating).
