The paper develops an analysis of the furniture industry (kitchen segment in particular) with attention to procesess of value creation for customer by the continuous interaction exchanges among the actors of the supply chain. The goal is to study the innovation processes stemming from the interactions and interdependences among the actors and to examine main problems emerging from such interactions.
