Abstract

Problemas detectados en nuestras prácticas didácticas del chino como segunda lengua (CSL), sumados a los avances teóricos tanto en la comunicación no verbal como en la pedagogía en general y en la de este idioma en especial, nos han hecho reflexionar sobre la importancia del lenguaje no verbal en la comunicación intercultural y la necesidad de realizar una propuesta teórica y práctica para su integración en los materiales de enseñanza del CSL, con el propósito de mejorar la capacidad de comunicación y de entendimiento de la sociedad y la cultura que estudian nuestros alumnos. Con este objetivo, este trabajo consiste en el análisis de signos no verbales usados en algunos contextos comunicativos concretos de los saludos y las presentaciones en chino y en la identificación de aquellos signos no verbales que más fácilmente puedan causar errores de interpretación en los alumnos, mediante la administración de cuestionarios, complementándolo con entrevistas personales y una revisión bibliográfica. Finalmente, tomando como base los resultados del estudio, se presenta una propuesta pedagógica concreta compuesta por cinco actividades con el fin de ofrecer un material complementario que ayude a los alumnos a evitar malentendidos y a suplir la falta de comprensión de la lengua extranjera que pone en riesgo la interacción con un interlocutor nativo. De esta manera pretendemos hacer una contribución a la mejora de la calidad de la práctica docente en el ámbito del CSL.

Because of problems detected in our teaching practices as professor of Chinese Language, on the other hand with the theoretical advances both in nonverbal communication and in pedagogy, especially in that of Chinese language, we began to reflect on the importance of the nonverbal language in intercultural communications and we found it necessary to make a theoretical and practical proposal for the integration of nonverbal communication into the Chinese language teaching materials, for the purpose of improving our students’ communication and the understanding capacities on the culture and society of China. In this goal, the present work consists in the analysis of nonverbal signs used in some specific communicative contexts in Chinese related to the topics of “greetings” and “presentations”, and in the identification of those nonverbal signs that can more easily cause errors of interpretation in the students, mainly by questionnaire administering, complementing it with personal interviews and bibliographic review. Finally, based on the results of our study, we present a concrete pedagogical proposal composed by five activities, in order to offer a complementary material that could help the students to avoid misinterpretations in spoken or written context that block and distort the transmission of messages.
