Estudio in vitro sobre la resistencia a la fractura de coronas implantosoportadas unitarias de disilicato de litio cementadas y cemento-atornilladas

Abstract

En aquest estudi in vitro es va avaluar la resistència a la fractura de corones unitàries implant-suportades de bisilicat de liti monolític, amb sistema de retenció cimentat i ciment-cargolat, a forces compressives verticals. Es va avaluar si afectava a la resistència l’alçada del pilar en corones ciment-cargolades, o ser sotmesa o no a un procés de termociclat. Les corones amb sistema de retenció cimentat van ser més resistents a la fractura que les corones amb sistema de retenció ciment-cargolat. No van existir diferències estadísticament significatives a la resistència de les corones per l’alçada dels pilars. Tampoc hi va haver diferències significatives a la resistència de les corones després d’un procés de termociclat. Les corones implanto suportades de bisilicat de liti monolític, atenent a la seva resistència a la fractura per forces compressives verticals, són una alternativa vàlida per rehabilitar prostodònticament tant a sectors anteriors com posteriors, bé sigui amb un sistema de retenció cimentat o ciment-cargolat.

En este estudio in vitro se evaluó la resistencia a la fractura de coronas unitarias implantosoportadas de disilicato de litio monolítico, con sistema de retención cementado y cemento-atornillado, a fuerzas compresivas verticales. Se evaluó si afectaba a la resistencia la altura del pilar en coronas cemento-atornilladas, o ser sometidas o no a un proceso de termociclado. Las coronas con sistema de retención cementado fueron más resistentes a la fractura que las con sistema cemento-atornillado. No existieron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en cuanto a la resistencia por la altura de los pilares. Tampoco hubo diferencias significativas en la resistencia de las coronas tras un proceso de termociclado. Las coronas implantosoportadas de disilicato de litio monolítico, atendiendo a su resistencia a la fractura por fuerzas compresivas verticales, son una alternativa válida para rehabilitar prostodónticamente tanto sectores anteriores como posteriores, bien sea con sistema de retención cementado o cemento-atornillado
