Abstract

En este artículo se presenta una revisión de los conceptos básicos de la cultura organizacional en las fusiones y adquisiciones con el objetivo de propiciar un entendimiento adecuado de este constructo, dada su importancia para el éxito o fracaso de esta estrategia de crecimiento empresarial -- Para complementar la ilustración de los conceptos se revisan diez casos de fusiones exitosas y fallidas en diferentes condiciones, sectores económicos y partes del mundo -- En este sentido, este trabajo ayuda al entendimiento del concepto de cultura organizacional en el contexto de las fusiones y adquisiciones desde un componente teórico y también desde las lecciones aprendidas en casos anteriores
