Abstract

Los Sistemas de Seguridad Social, se encuentran enfrentando un nuevo reto de carácter internacional, el cual es fruto del fenómeno de la globalización, debido a que los Estados se encuentran cada día más interrelacionados en diferentes ámbitos, tales como el político, el militar, el legal, el ecológico, el criminal, entre otros. Como consecuencia de lo anterior, la interdependencia entre los Estados es cada vez más estrecha, y el Derecho Internacional ofrece una gama de instrumentos tales como los tratados y convenios internacionales, con el fin de que los Estados regulen sus relaciones y consoliden dichas uniones.
