Efecto de rizobacterias aeróbicas formadoras de endospora sobre Mycosphaerella fijiensis

Abstract

La Sigatoka negra, causada por el hongo Mycosphaerella fijiensis, es actualmente considerada una de las enfermedades foliares más destructivas en plantaciones de banano a nivel mundial, provocando grandes pérdidas en los rendimientos de los cultivos y aumentando la necesidad de implementar estrategias de control químico perjudiciales para la salud humana y el medio ambiente. Con el fin de contribuir con un futuro sostenible, esta investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar el efecto de Bacterias Aeróbicas formadoras de Endospora (BAFEs) sobre el crecimiento y desarrollo del hongo M. fijiensis causante de la Sigatoka negra en banano (Musa AAA), como una alternativa de control biológico.
