Determinación de módulo de reacción de subrasante para suelos finos saturados

Abstract

El presente documento corresponde a la formulación del módulo de reacción de subrasante para suelos finos saturados, implementando un modelo elastoplástico. De esta forma, se presenta una mejora en la caracterización de la rigidez del suelo respecto a metodologías tradicionales, representando un concepto esencial en el desempeño de la vida útil en las estructuras. Este trabajo tiene como base la teoría del módulo de reacción de subrasante para suelos finos, presentando todos los antecedentes relacionados a la temática, definiendo el concepto actual y el ensayo utilizado para obtener este módulo. A su vez, se presentan las limitaciones conceptuales y se ejemplifica a través de casos históricos donde han ocurrido fallas por el mal manejo de este concepto. Adicionalmente, se presentan los fundamentos teóricos correspondientes a modelos constitutivos elastoplásticos. Con lo anterior, se presenta la necesidad de difundir metodologías de implementación de modelos elastoplásticos para la obtención del modelo de reacción de subrasante. Este concepto es validado a través del modelo Cam Clay, destacando el comportamiento de suelos finos saturados, generando soluciones para el óptimo desempeño de las obras de ingeniería.
