Análisis comparativo de experiencia de cliente de Amazon marketplace y Mercado Libre

Abstract

Con la evolución que ha tenido el internet las personas están cada vez más conectadas a este, y con una vida cada vez más digital la venta por Internet es necesaria para el crecimiento de las compañías. Para tener éxito en el canal online es necesario que este tenga una buena experiencia de compra. A partir de esto, se hizo necesario realizar un estudio que permitiera conocer las mejores prácticas de experiencia de cliente de marketplaces tan importantes como Amazon y Mercado Libre, que puedan ser aplicadas en la industria del comercio electrónico. Para lograrlo, se investigó sobre las tendencias de consumo justo antes de la pandemia (2019) hasta ahora (2023), para entender la importancia del mundo digital en las personas. Se evaluó la literatura sobre E-commerce y experiencia del cliente para conocer cómo ha sido la evolución del tema y se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a expertos y compradores, que permitieran conocer la experiencia de compra de los clientes en los marketplaces anteriormente mencionados. A partir de esta información, se obtuvo un análisis comparativo de experiencia de estos dos canales de venta y los puntos clave a tener en cuenta en el éxito de un canal online.

With the Internet evolving, people are more connected than ever, living a digital lifestyle. Selling online has become crucial for companies to grow. To succeed in the online world, providing a great shopping experience is a must. That's why we needed to conduct a study to find out the best customer experience practices from big marketplaces like Amazon and Mercado Libre that can be applied to the e-commerce industry. We researched consumer trends from just before the pandemic (2019) up until now (2023) to understand how important the digital world is to people. We looked into e-commerce and customer experience literature and interviewed experts and shoppers to learn about their buying experience on the mentioned marketplaces. Based on all this info, we did a side-by-side analysis of the buying experience on these two sales channels and identified key factors for online success.
