Inversiones en agricultura regenerativa

Abstract

This paper explains the concepts of conventional and regenerative agriculture and the environmental impacts that each of these productive systems has. Then, the Welch’s t -test statistic was applied to the Ishares MSCI Global Agricultural Producers companies for the years 2019 and 2020 to determine if there are statistically significant differences in their financial results. To achieve this objective, the companies were separated into those that conduct regenerative agriculture practices and those that do not. The results of this work show that there are no statistically significant differences between the financial results of the two groups of companies. Despite the above, we consider this to be positive for the implementation of regenerative agriculture practices in the future.
