Sostenibilidad. ¿Cómo aprovecho los desechos orgánicos?

Abstract

De manera resumida, la sostenibilidad busca que la satisfacción de las necesidades humanas (y el ejercicio de nuestros derechos) se den a cabalidad, pero sin poner sobre los ecosistemas globales más presión de la que estos pueden soportar (Brundtland et al., 1987). En este sentido, la economista inglesa Kate Raworth propone un marco de “límites sociales y ecológicos” para la sostenibilidad en el que ésta se entiende como el imperativo que tiene la humanidad de operar dentro un espacio justo y seguro: justo porque se busca construir unos fundamentos sociales para todos los seres humanos (agua, comida, educación y vivienda, entre otros) y seguro porque se evita cruzar unos límites ecológicos (cambio climático, uso del agua, etc.) (Raworth, 2017). En pocas palabras: se trata de un modelo de desarrollo que busca que todas las personas del mundo vivamos una buena vida en armonía con la naturaleza
