Abstract

Se presenta un procedimiento descrito en la literatura que permite evaluar la respuesta de sistemas amortiguados sueloestructura. Se demuestra que la respuesta dinámica de estos sistemas no siempre presenta frecuencias y modos clásicos de vibración, debido a que éstos resultan ser cantidades complejas. Se desarrolla un ejemplo de aplicación práctica de un sistema de dos niveles, en el que se comparan los resultados obtenidos cuando se incluye o desprecia, los efectos de interacción sueloestructura y el amortiguamiento en la base.
