Un nuevo compuesto NaFe2(MoO4)2(OH).H2O ha sido sintetizado por el método hidrotermico. La fase se identifico como la ƒ³x a partir del patron de difraccion de rayos X de polvos. La caracterizacion se realizo con la ayuda de las tecnicas de analisis termogravimetrico, absorcion atomica y microscopia electronica de barrido. Se determinaron datos cristalograficos del compuesto a partir del patron de difraccion de rayos X. El resultado fue una celda monoclinica con grupo espacial C2/m y parametros de celda a = 9,420762, b = 6,345030, c = 7,574624, A y ƒÀ = 116,0368o, con un volumen de celda unitaria igual a 452,7733 A3.
