El uso de la ‘e’ en e-mail, como prefijo, se ha extendido a otros vocablos. Entre muchos encontramos: e-business, e-learning, e-objects, e-company, e-global y e-culture. La ciencia como concepto no escapa a este doble sentido de existencia, real y virtual, que se logra, simplemente, anteponiendo una letra a cualquier palabra. Así que hoy ya se ha acuñado también el uso del vocablo e-ciencia. ¿En qué se diferencia la e-ciencia de la ciencia en el sentido tradicional del término? ¿Cuáles son las implicaciones que trae consigo este desarrollo?
