Abstract

El mercado de alimentos y bebidas funcionales está creciendo en el mundo y en Colombia y la compañía Grupo Empresarial Jaramillo - GEJ - requiere definir una propuesta de valor y un modelo de negocio que soporten la estrategia competitiva para ser sostenibles y rentables en este segmento del mercado -- El presente trabajo define una propuesta de estrategia competitiva y modelo de negocio a través de una investigación de carácter cualitativa, apalancada en revisión documental y la realización de entrevistas a empleados y asociados de negocio de GEJ -- Los resultados obtenidos permiten tener una comprensión de la estrategia, modelo de negocio y propuesta de valor de la organización, en relación con las tendencias del mercado de alimentos y bebidas funcionales

The food and beverage market is growing in the world and the company Grupo Empresarial Jaramillo - GEJ - requires a value proposal and a business model that supports the competitive strategy to be sustainable and profitable in this segment of the market -- The present paper defines a proposal of competitive strategy and a business model through a qualitative research, that includes a documentary review and some interviews to clients and employees of GEJ -- The results can be found in the strategy, the business model and the value proposition of the organization, in relation to the trends of the functional food and beverage market
