Productividad total factorial : una estimación a nivel de divisiones industriales y departamentos para el caso de Colombia entre los años 2012 y 2016.

Abstract

En el presente estudió se realiza una estimación de la productividad total factorial para 18 divisiones industriales y para 20 departamentos más Bogotá D.C. Lo anterior tiene como objetivo identificar cuáles son las divisiones industriales y los departamentos con mayores niveles de productividad. La importancia del estudio radica en la necesidad de realizar estimaciones con datos más recientes para de este modo llevar a cabo comparaciones de la productividad total factorial entre las diferentes divisiones industriales y entre los departamentos. Para las estimaciones de la productividad total factorial se utilizó el método de Levinsohn y Petrin (2003). De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos la tasa de crecimiento de la productividad es positiva entre los años 2013 y 2015. De acuerdo con los resultados en la gran mayoría de divisiones industriales y departamentos predomina la existencia de rendimientos decrecientes a escala.
