Pronósticos con restricciones para series de tiempo

Abstract

Uno de los aspectos centrales y que actualmente adquiere gran relevancia es la Modelación de series de tiempo con fines de predicción -- Los modelos ARIMA por su misma estructura no son muy potentes en este sentido -- En este trabajo se presentan las consideraciones teóricas de los modelos Autorregresivos y de Medias Móviles Integrados (ARIMA), los modelos de Vectores Autorregresivos (VAR) y se desarrolla el procedimiento empleado por Víctor Guerrero (2002) que permite obtener predicciones condicionadas a determinadas metas o restricciones -- Los elementos formales se ilustran con un ejemplo numérico y finalmente se realiza un caso de aplicación para la economía colombiana utilizando la variable PIB
