Seis Sigma no contexto do Outsourcing dos processos logísticos

Abstract

The Six Sigma methodology for process improvement has been used in the industrial sector since the 70’s. The developed project aimed to explore the process of load for the international market and to reduce the variability, of the same, at the warehouse of finished products, with this service being provided in outsourcing by another enterprise. The Six Sigma methodology was implemented and studies of the load time for the Spanish market were carried out, as a pilot test. This project allowed the improvement of 1 stage in the Six Sigma project management of the load process, proportional to the responsiveness of the company. Despite the small incremental changes improvement of load processes can give origin to positive results.
