Cidadania produtiva: Georg Kerschensteiner e o sistema dual alemão

Abstract

A partir da análise textual e contextual da obra Conceito da escola de trabalho (1912) e da sua influência no sistema dual de educação e formação alemão, procura-se saber qual o sentido de cidadania ativa e trabalho produtivo na «escola de trabalho» de Kerschensteiner e que coincidência (ou não) há entre estes conceitos e os de «mais emprego» e «melhores condições de vida» da Estratégia Europa 2020. Nesta perspectiva, será que para a resolução dos problemas atuais, são suficientes medidas político-económicas conjunturais ou uma atitude ética de participação ativa em relação à cidadania, e produtividade útil em relação ao trabalho?
