Abstract

The fast shortage of fossil energy carries an unavoidable increase of its usage cost. Nevertheless, environmental issues have been encouraging the usage of renewable energies instead of fossil ones. As a result, encouragments to the usage of renewable energies appears thru governmental support, as it's the case of solar energy. In domestic use, a substantial part of the energy consumption is spent with water heating, however most of the houses still uses electric or gas heaters. The development of water heating solar systems simulation models, can introduce a faster growth on the control of this systems. On the other side, the possibility of remote monitoring and control of this systems, may also contribute for the improvment of themselves. It's among this topics that this dissertation will be based, mainly studying mathematic models, simulation models acquirment, study of real systems and the development of remote control and monitoring platform for the described systems.
