Abstract

‘Museu na Aldeia’ is a collaborative initiative that brings together various partners, creating opportunities for dialogue and new proposals for participatory art. The presentation of the collective work created by the community of Pena and Casal da Pena reflected this In order to overcome obstacles to the project, this community visited museums of two municipalities: Torres Novas and Alenquer. Firstly, the exhibition was held at Museu Carlos Reis (Torres Novas) and then at Museu Damião de Góis (Alenquer), where the participants were invited by the municipality to get to know the cultural heritage of the historic centre of Alenquer. The "Museu na Aldeia" project is co-financed by PO ISE – Portugal 2020, through "Iniciativa Portugal Inovação Social", and counts on the Municipality of Leiria as a Social Investor. Also joining as a partner is "Rede Cultura Leiria" which brings together museums, city halls, parish councils, associations and institutions from the 26 municipalities in the network. It also has the support of the Politécnico de Leiria, Union of Parish Councils of Leiria, Pousos, Barreira & Cortes.

O Museu na Aldeia é uma iniciativa colaborativa que aproxima diversos parceiros, criando oportunidades de diálogo e novas propostas de arte participativa. A apresentação da obra coletiva criada pela comunidade de Pena e Casal da Pena foi o reflexo disso. De forma a colmatar obstáculos que se impuseram ao projeto esta comunidade foi a museus de dois municípios: Torres Novas e Alenquer. Primeiramente, a exposição foi realizada no Museu Carlos Reis (Torres Novas) e, posteriormente, no Museu Damião de Góis (Alenquer), onde os participantes foram convidados pelo município a conhecer o património cultural do centro histórico de Alenquer O projeto Museu na Aldeia é cofinanciado pelo PO ISE – Portugal 2020, através da Iniciativa Portugal Inovação Social, e tem como Investidor Social a Câmara Municipal de Leiria, juntando ainda a Rede Cultura Leiria como parceira que reúne Museus, Câmaras Municipais, Juntas de Freguesia, Associações e Instituições de 26 municípios em rede. Conta, ainda, com o apoio do Politécnico de Leiria, União das Freguesias de Leiria, Pousos, Barreira e Cortes.
