A arquitetura escolar e a aprendizagem

Abstract

Refletir sobre a arquitetura do espaço escolar e a forma como a aprendizagem pode ser otimizada em função dela é um tema que deve passar a assumir uma importância elevada, sobretudo se nos confrontamos com as necessidades efetivas dos alunos das nossas escolas. Neste contexto, são apresentadas pesquisas relacionadas com a importância da interdisciplinaridade, assim como exemplos concretos de aplicação da arquitetura escolar ao serviço da aprendizagem, visando a sua influência na formação do indivíduo e verificando a interação entre a conceção projetual das escolas e a aprendizagem efetiva dos alunos. Defendem-se soluções de arquitetura escolar que potencializem a identidade dos alunos de hoje, preparando-os para o futuro, dando resposta às suas efetivas necessidades de aprendizagem, com total acessibilidade ao conhecimento e num caminho de inovação.

School spaces design and their effects on learning optimization is an issue that needs to be explored, especially if we take in consideration our students’ effective needs. Interdisciplinary and practical examples of how school design can improve the ability of learning have been analyzed, regarding their influence on individual growth and effective learning. School Design should be used to improve today’s students identities, regarding their future needs, giving them appropriate answers to individual effective learning and guiding them into a path of innovation with total access to knowledge.
