Copper is a material of extreme importance, currently used in numerous applications. However, its high thermal conductivity makes the welding process challenging, complicating its automation and integration into industrial processes. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of copper welding by ultrasound, identifying the parameters that maximize the mechanical strength of overlapped joints and ensure the sealing of tubes. For this purpose, copper plates were welded, with the best results achieved with a welding time of 3 seconds and a pressure of 6 bar. Tubes were sealed with a welding time of 3 seconds and a pressure of 4 bar.
