Abstract

La Estadística es un área fundamental de las Matemáticas, no sólo como contenido escolar, sino también en la forma en que entendemos el mundo. Dado que el curso de grado en Educación Básica incluye esta área en su Plan de Estudios, es esencial desarrollar recursos pedagógicos en esta área del conocimiento. En este trabajo presentaremos el potencial de los simuladores (en software de Excel) en la enseñanza de la Estadística y cómo estos, como objetos de aprendizaje digital, pueden, de forma rápida y eficaz, mejorar las habilidades de alfabetización matemática, así como la sensibilidad estadística de los estudiantes del curso de Educación Básica.

A Estatística é uma área fundamental da Matemática, não só como conteúdo escolar, mas também na forma como entendemos o mundo. Uma vez que o curso de licenciatura em Educação Básica inclui esta área no seu Plano de Estudos, torna-se essencial desenvolver recursos pedagógicos neste domínio do saber. Neste trabalho iremos apresentar as potencialidades de simuladores (no software Excel) no ensino da Estatística e como estes, enquanto objetos de aprendizagem digitais, podem, de um modo rápido e eficaz, melhorar competências de literacia matemática, bem como a sensibilidade estatística dos estudantes do curso de Educação Básica.

Statistics is a fundamental area of Mathematics, not only as school content, but also in the way we understand the world. Since the graduation in Basic Education includes this area in its Study Plan, it is essential to develop pedagogical resources in this area of knowledge. In this work we will present the potential of simulators (in Excel software) in the teaching of Statistics and how these, as digital learning objects, can, in a fast and effective way, improve mathematical literacy skills, as well as the statistical sensitivity of students of the Basic Education course.
