Gestão de projetos vs trabalho colaborativo

Abstract

Information technologies have evolved significantly over the years, affecting all sectors, including the AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operation) sector. The BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology has been presented as a promising technology in the construction sector, given the great potential that it can offer users, introducing relevant changes in the conception, construction and maintenance processes of buildings. This methodology has been increasingly implemented in recent years, however, there are still no good practice standards for its implementation in Portugal. In order to bridge, at least in part, this gap, this dissertation refers to the main phases of the implementation of the BIM methodology in a project company, as well as the standardization of work processes, including a system of information classification. In order to achieve this objective, a literature review of the theme was carried out and a methodology for systematizing the BIM process, applicable to a project company in Portugal. A case study was also developed in which recent BIM technologies were applied in relation to project management. With this a conflict detection and automatic quantity extraction were performed using Autodesk Revit 2018 and Autodesk Navisworks Manage 2018 software. Finally, reference is made to BIM 360, which is a tool capable of managing the entire project life cycle and with this improving collaboration and communication processes between the involved people. After analyzing the functionalities of the software used throughout the dissertation and consequent case study, it can be concluded that they are major tools for building project management and BIM methodology, having a fundamental contribution to the coherence of projects and the improvement of collaborative work among project members. In this sense, it allows the reduction of the occurrence of errors and omissions in projects in order to provide a better quality projects and buildings.
