A Atmosfera é um fascinante laboratório de ensino, pois nela podem-se verificar todos os processos físicos leccionados ao longo dos diversos anos de escolaridade. Assim, podem-se fazer diversos estudos simples que são capazes de responder a diferentes questões relacionadas com o Bem-Estar e turismo, que inquietam todos nós (principalmente os nossos alunos) e que possam ir surgindo aquando da leccionação das temáticas “Mudança Global”, leccionada no 8º ano de escolaridade, e “Na atmosfera da Terra: radiação, matéria e estrutura”, leccionada no 10º ano de escolaridade. Esperamos que esta dissertação ajude os profissionais de ensino a promoverem o desenvolvimento de competências de literacia científica e de cidadania, de modo a podermos contribuir para a formação de futuros cidadãos activos e conscientes defensores da Sustentabilidade da Terra. ABSTRACT: The atmosphere is a fascinating laboratory teaching as it is where numerous physical processes happen, which are taught in different subjects during the school years. It may be planned and developed several practical activities able to answer to the different issues related to the impact it can cause due to the “Climate Changes”. The humidity and the air temperature considered essential to our well-being are investigated in a certain region. In fact, we know that our well-being is an issue that worries not only any citizen but also the politicians and the researchers. Topics such as "Global Change", taught in 8th form and "In Earth's atmosphere: radiation, composition and structure," taught in the 10th form can lead to the use of new teaching strategies through practical activities. In this piece of writing are shown different practical activities able to become teaching more pleasant and motivating. We hope the professionals find in this piece of writing strategies capable to promote skills of scientific literacy and citizenship. So that we may have in the future dynamic and conscious citizens defenders of the “Earth Sustainability”.
