Maquinabilidade dos aços AISI H13 e D2

Abstract

In this work was carried out a study based on the machinability, analysing the surface and dimensional accuracy, of AISI H13 and D2 steels, with conventional and wiper ceramic tools. The surface finishing was evaluated throught the roughness values, Ra, Rt, Ra / Rt and values of the tolerance interval. It was concluded that the hardness materials to the steels allows lower values of surface finish. Futhermore the wiper tools was more advantageous than the conventional tools because with the increase of the production rate the roughness values trended to reduce.
