A presente dissertação propõe-se divulgar o conhecimento do bicho-da-seda e da seda e apresentar a Rota da Seda nas suas dimensões comercial e cultural. Salientam-se os efeitos da rota terrestre e da rota marítima e procede-se à transposição para a atual política chinesa assente na memória dessa história milenar, conhecida por “Uma Faixa e uma Rota”.
The present dissertation proposes to spread the knowledge of silkworms and silk and present the Silk Road in its commercial and cultural dimensions. The effects of the land route and the sea route are highlighted and transposed into the current Chinese policy based on the memory of this ancient history, known as "One Belt and One Road".
