Análise de instrumentos financeiros online de bancos portugueses

Abstract

This study aims firstly to describe the activities in a curriculum developed stage in the company Revigrés, Ltd. Secondly intends to show what kind of online financial information is available by Portuguese banks in terms of investment funds, concluding whether or not it is possible according to the information provided to make a comparative analysis. Regarding the subject of the third part of this study, concerning the online information provided by some banks in terms of investment funds offered, we conclude that this information is not uniform either in the division of funds by categories , the number of funds available for each entity within each category , the accessibility of the information, the provision of a glossary and the documents available for download. This reality makes it difficult for any person / institution interested in investing to make a reliable comparison between different products from different banks. Another obstacle to understanding/ comparison is that banks often provide a number of documents, with repeated information, which can sometimes hinder the understanding there of. It was important that each bank should review the information that makes available to customers making it simpler and less repetitive.
