Abstract

The work presented in this document is intended to increase safety in the transport of values between two destinations defined a priori, an operation of special care in the field of jewelery. The final objective is to obtain a system that enables the opening of a portable safe only in the local of the delivery of the product. Additionally the system should launch alarms if any deviations from the route or from the schedule are detected. To implement such a system it wll be used a device embedded in a 'safe / bag' that includes GPS, a GSM wireless interface and a proximity wireless Bluetooth interface, controlled from an Android application. The inclusion of GPS is intended to find the 'safe' and to indicate its position if there are deviations in the trajectory. The addition of GSM allows introducing alarms when there are deviations and sends the coordinates of the 'safe / handbag' if it leaves the preset itinerary. Finally, the Bluetooth interface communicates with the device embedded in the “safe”, allowing the opening / closing operation in the adequate sites, commanded from a mobile device carried by the person that carries the safe. All the above characteristics will be available through an application created and developed under this project. In the development process it was used the MIT App Inventor in order to demonstrate its potentials.

O trabalho apresentado neste documento destina-se a aumentar a segurança no transporte de valores entre dois destinos definidos a priori, operação esta de especial cuidado na área da Ourivesaria. Pretende-se um sistema que permita a abertura de um cofre portátil apenas nos locais de entrega de um produto e que, adicionalmente, permita lançar alarmes caso existam desvios de percurso ou horário. Para implementar tal sistema utiliza-se um dispositivo embutido num cofre/mala que inclui GPS e GSM e uma interface sem fios de proximidade tipo Bluetooth, controlados a partir de uma aplicação Android. A inclusão de GPS permite localizar o cofre/mala e indica a sua posição caso haja desvios na trajetória. A inclusão de GSM permite introduzir alarmística quando existam desvios e envia as coordenadas do cofre/mala caso ele saia do percurso pré-definido. Finalmente a interface Bluetooth comunicará com o sensor abertura/fecho permitindo associar a abertura/fecho a um dispositivo telemóvel transportado pelo portador do cofre/mala. Todas as características referidas acima estarão disponíveis através de uma aplicação criada e desenvolvida no âmbito deste projeto. No processo de desenvolvimento foi explorada a utilização do MIT App Inventor.
