Abstract

Les marais salants jouent un rôle important dans la préservation des zones humides et sont des espaces essentiels pour l’avifaune, utilisés pour la nidification, le repos et l'alimentation. Ces espaces regroupent des ressources naturelles et humaines à fort potentiel qui peuvent être exploitées par le biais de nouvelles approches pour les produits traditionnels, du développement de nouveaux produits et de la création de nouvelles activités pour la valorisation et rentabilisation de ces espaces naturels. Avec le déclin de l'activité salicole et l’abandon conséquent des marais salants, c’est tout un patrimoine naturel, culturel et historique qui disparaît, y compris de vastes zones humides, des valeurs ethnographiques et une connaissance ancestrale unique. Las salinas desempeñan un papel destacado en la preservación de las zonas húmedas y son importantes espacios para la avifauna, siendo utilizados para la anidación, reposo y alimentación. Estos espacios congregan un conjunto de recursos naturales y humanos de elevado potencial, que se pueden explorar a través de nuevos abordajes a productos tradicionales, del desarrollo de nuevos productos y del desarrollo de nuevas actividades para la valoración y rentabilización de estas áreas naturales. As salinas desempenham um papel de relevo na preservação das zonas húmidas e são importantes espaços para a avifauna, sendo utilizados para a nidificação, repouso e alimentação. Estes espaços congregam um conjunto de recursos naturais e humanos de elevado potencial passíveis de serem explorados através de novas abordagens a produtos tradicionais, do desenvolvimento de novos produtos e do desenvolvimento de novas atividades para valorização e rentabilização destas áreas naturais. Saltpans play an important role in the preservation of wetlands and are important places for birds, as they are used for nesting, resting and feeding. These spaces set together natural and human resources with high potential that can be exploited through new approaches to traditional products, the development of new products and new activities for the valuation and monetization of these natural areas.
