Abstract

The present work describes different methodologies applied on the synthesis of dietoxyphosphoryl porphyrin derivatives from 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porphyrin and 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)porphyrin and the correspondent zinc porphyrinates, exploring classical conditions and microwave irradiation. Once obtained, different conditions of hydrolysis were explored, acidic and non-acidic, for the obtention of porphyrins functionalized with phosphonate groups. Porphyrin derivatives were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy of 1H and 19F, as well as mass spectrometry. Porphyrins functionalized with phosphonate groups will be used as organic ligands to explore the construction of new coordination polymers.
