Abstract

El curso de Terapias Alternativas es un curso de especialidad de carácter teórico práctico dirigido a los estudiantes del séptimo ciclo de la Carrera de Terapia Física que busca desarrollar la competencia específica de Práctica clínica en el nivel 2, abarcando las dimensiones de promoción, prevención y tratamiento fisioterapéutico. Las terapias alternativas tienen den a no solo mirar la enfermedad, si no a buscar la salud a través del equilibrio del cuerpo, son menos agresivas que varias terapias convencionales, no tienen efectos a largo plazo (indeseados a diferencia de un medicamento para el dolor que adicionalmente daña otra estructura). Promueven el bienestar general no solamente físico. El curso de Terapias Alternativas (complementarias) le brinda al estudiante las bases teóricas sobre nuevos conceptos y protocolos de tratamiento alternativos y/o complementarios a la terapia convencional con finalidad de utilizar estas nuevas herramientas en su carrera profesional. Se hará uso de la kinesiología holística para el testaje neuro-estructural, se desarrollarán las técnicas de evaluación y abordaje visceral, inducción miofascial y aromaterapia.
