Abstract

Descripción: El curso Razonamiento Cuantitativo, de naturaleza teórico-práctica, tiene como finalidad proporcionar las herramientas básicas de la Matemática que permitan al estudiante resolver problemas del contexto de su carrera y de su vida cotidiana, con actitud crítica y reflexiva, participando asertivamente en equipos multidisciplinarios. Propósito: El curso de Razonamiento Cuantitativo ha sido diseñado con el propósito de permitir al futuro profesional de la salud desarrollar sus competencias interpretación, representación, análisis, cálculo y argumentación/comunicación desde el tercer ciclo de la carrera, a través del uso de diversas herramientas matemáticas, su empleo para potenciar su propio aprendizaje y desarrollar la actitud crítica para su ejercicio profesional. El curso contribuye directamente al desarrollo de la competencia de Razonamiento Cuantitativo (general-Área de Ciencias) del nivel 1.
