Abstract

Descripción: El curso de Taller de Inteligencia de negocios te permitirá tener la capacidad de detectar oportunidades en el manejo de la información, de tal manera que se agregue valor en cada decisión que se tome. En el desarrollo de este curso, consolidarás los principales conceptos y variables que los ejecutivos deben tomar en cuenta para generar valor a partir del descubrimiento de la información, revisarás junto con el docente la importancia de los datos, la calidad de estos; cómo gestionar un proyecto de información; las herramientas disponibles en el mercado y sobre todo el impacto de la información en las principales decisiones de una empresa. Propósito: El curso de inteligencia de negocios tiene como propósito permitirte desarrollar el pensamiento crítico a través del conocimiento del negocio basado en principios cuantitativos, lógicos y tangibles, proponiendo ideas e implementaciones orientadas a atender oportunidades existentes. El curso contribuye directamente al desarrollo de la Competencia General WASC: Manejo de la Información (nivel 3) y de la Competencia Específica ABET 6: Cuenta con la capacidad de desarrollar y llevar a cabo experimentos adecuados, analiza e interpreta datos, y usa el juicio de ingeniería para sacar conclusiones.
