Abstract

Descripción: Curso que da las herramientas que el ingeniero necesita para resolver problemas en las empresas, mediante modelos de programación lineal y programación no lineal. Es así, que se va a proporcionar al estudiante los fundamentos y métodos para la construcción de modelos determinísticos y la solución de programación lineal, programación entera, programación binaria e introducción a la programación no lineal. Propósito: El curso brinda las bases para que el futuro ingeniero pueda modelar y analizar las operaciones al interior de una empresa. Asimismo, contribuye directamente al desarrollo de la competencia general Razonamiento Cuantitativo a un nivel de logro intermedio (nivel 2), y la competencia específica de ABET (1): Capacidad de identificar, formular y resolver problemas complejos de ingeniería aplicando los principios de ingeniería, ciencia y matemática. Tiene como requisito el curso Algoritmos (IN398).
