Abstract

Descripción: El curso de Investigación de operaciones 2 le brinda al estudiante métodos cuantitativos probabilísticos como soporte a la toma de decisiones en el área de operaciones de una empresa. Propósito: El curso busca que los estudiantes sean capaces de resolver problemas en los cuales está presente la incertidumbre, a través de la elaboración y solución computacional de un modelo matemático para tomar la mejor decisión en el Área de Operaciones de una empresa. Asimismo, se busca contribuir al desarrollo de la competencia general de Pensamiento innovador y la competencia específica de ABET (1): Capacidad de identificar, formular y resolver problemas complejos de ingeniería, aplicando los principios de ingeniería, ciencia y matemática, ambas a nivel 2. Tiene como requisito el curso de investigación de operaciones 1 (IN395)
