Abstract

Descripción El curso de Tecnología de los Biocombustibles es de carácter teórico-práctico, brinda conceptos y ejemplos necesarios para el conocimiento y aplicación de las tecnologías involucradas en la producción de biocombustibles; con el fin de brindar una visión integral a los estudiantes del aporte de la bioenergía a la diversificación de la matriz energética peruana. Dentro de los contenidos que aborda están los conceptos fundamentales del desarrollo sostenible, innovación tecnológica, estrategia, industria, organización y ecología industrial. Propósito Este curso tiene por finalidad que el alumno sepa prevenir amenazas del cambio climático, el cual tiene como una de sus causas principales la emisión de gases contaminantes generados por combustión de petróleo y gas natural. Aún si existieran mayores reservas de crudo éstas no podrían ser utilizadas, al menos si se quiere mantener el equilibrio climático dentro de ciertos límites a los que la humanidad pueda adaptarse. En este contexto, el uso de las energías renovables son una alternativa viable, confiable y factible tanto para los países desarrollados como para aquellos en vías de desarrollo. El curso contribuye directamente al desarrollo de la competencia general de Pensamiento innovador con nivel de logro 2 y de competencia especifica de Experimentación con nivel de logro 2. El curso tiene como prerrequisitos al curso de Gestión de Proyectos Ambientales.
