Abstract

Descripción: El curso es obligatorio para las carreras de la Facultad de Economía, y perteneciente a la línea de macroeconomía. Se enfoca en proporcionar elementos teóricos y prácticos que permitirán entender y explicar la realidad económica nacional e internacional, a partir de los principales modelos teóricos y de las herramientas analíticas (cualitativas y cuantitativas). Todo ello en torno a cuatro (4) temas principales: Modelos de Crecimiento con Ahorro Exógeno, Modelos de Horizonte Infinito y de Generaciones Traslapadas, Modelos de Crecimiento Endógeno, y Tópicos de Crecimiento y Desarrollo Económico. Propósito: Este curso propone desarrollar las habilidades de abstracción e intuición económica, mediante la aplicación de herramientas matemáticas y gráficas avanzadas. Es un curso enfocado en el desarrollo de las competencias generales de Pensamiento Crítico y Ciudadanía, ambas a Nivel 3.
