Abstract

Todo comunicador audiovisual es un creador. Y crear es un complejo proceso que requiere, para activarse y fortalecerse, variados insumos: cultura, conocimiento de la tradición, comprensión de los movimientos fílmicos, referentes autorales; en suma, fuentes de inspiración. Por eso, a través del curso Historia del Cine, el alumno conocerá algunos filmes y directores valiosos que forman parte de la tradición fílmica mundial. Conocer la obra fílmica de estos autores será decisivo para formar al estudiante como comunicador y realizador, pero también como cinéfilo y persona. Historia del Cine es un curso general obligatorio de la carrera de Comunicación Audiovisual y Medios Interactivos pero electivo para los alumnos de otras carreras de la Facultad de Comunicaciones, de carácter teórico, dirigido a los estudiantes del segundo ciclo. Busca desarrollar la competencia general de Pensamiento Crítico y las competencias específicas de Lenguaje Audiovisual y Análisis y Comprensión de la Realidad. No tiene prerrequisitos y es fundamental para que el alumno pueda llevar más adelante el curso Lenguaje Audiovisual.
