Two on-going projects I presented at HGI workshop exemplified my effort to utilize both analog and digital media to explore the aesthetics and ontology of Risk Ecology. Beyond the visualization of known or idealized conditions, we can also represent failure—imperfections, deformations, and counter-construction where risks and vulnerabilities are exposed, and creative accidents become a co-purpose and reoccurring practice.
