Abstract

城市群的基本概念,可以概括为:在特定的地域范围内具有相当数量的不同性质、类型和等级规模的城市,依托一定的自然环境条件,以一个或两个超大或特大城市作为地区经济的核心,借助于现代化的交通工具和综合运输网的通达性,以及高度发达的信息网络,发生与发展着城市个体之间的内在联系,共同构成一个相对完整的城市“集合体” 《中国城市群》不仅总结分析了我国城市群生长发育的因素、空间扩展过程与类型等,而且对它们的演变规律、发展个性与共性特征作了比较全面的分析论证,达到了一定的深度。作者博采众家之长,参阅与引用了许多中外代表性著作,综合地概括了城市群区域发展的动态特征以及城市与区域发展的相互关系,表达了不少新颖的观点。同时,本书对我国六大超大型城市群(沪宁杭、京津唐、珠江三角洲、山东半岛、辽宁中部与四川盆地)的形成发展条件、现状特点以及发展趋势作了较详细的分析,还对我国近似城市群的七个城市群的七个城镇密集地区进行了论述,分析了这些地区城镇发展的问题与前景,为读者了解全国城市发展现状以及城市群演变规律提供了一个轮廓性的概貌。
