Litorales del Golfo de Nicoya

Abstract

Presenta tres artículos sobre el Golfo de Nicoya, los cuales tienen como propósito principal el ofrecer algunas de sus características importantes, principalmente geográficas, históricas y biológicas. El primer artículo titulado "Aspectos fisiográficos del litoral e islas del Golfo de Nicoya", elaborado por el Lic. Manuel Argüello, analiza las costas del Golfo y su interrelación con las áreas vecinas, emergidas o sumergidas, señala algunos problemas de contaminación. En el artículo "Colonización de la zona marítimo-terrestre: el caso de Chira dentro del Golfo de Nicoya", redactado por el Lic. Luis Alberto Muñoz, se detecta e interpreta los problemas espaciales que resultan de una colonización agrícola espontánea de la zona marítimo-terrestres. En el último artículo "Cantidad de hojarasca y tiempo de descomposiciòn para la hoja de Rhizophora mangle en el Estero Morales, Puntarenas", se pretende medir la producciómn de hojarasca y el periodo de descomposición que esta sufre en el sustrato, en condiciones naturales
