La Física en la Universidad de Costa Rica

Abstract

El objetivo del presente artículo es describir en forma resumida el estado actual (1994) del desarrollo de la Física en la Universidad de Costa Rica. Las actividades de investigación que se describirán son realizadas por la Escuela de Física, que forma parte de la Facultad de Ciencias, y por dos centros de Investigación adscritos a la Vicerrectoría de Investigación: el Centro de investigación en Ciencia e Ingeniería de Materiales y el Centro de Investigaciones Geofísicas.
