Brachial plexus palsy is a neonatal injury that happens very frequently that often goes undi- agnosed. It is a common occurrence that patients with this disease start control later in life with great repercussions in their overall extremity function. With development in new tech- niques in the microsurgical field we've been able to do surgeries at much an earlier stage in life with better outcomes and prognosis. The purpose of this review is for the reader to know all the different aspects of this disease starting from its origin, how to diagnose it and to know all the different treatments techniques that are at our disposal from physical and occupational therapy to all the different surgical approaches. This way we are going to create more aware- ness about this problem to better treat our patients in the future, all of this will lead to better outcomes and less catastrophic repercussions.
