Conector Biofílico

Abstract

Según Weisser et Hauck (2015) los espacios abiertos urbanos normalmente son diseñados por arquitectos paisajistas y el enfoque principal de los proyectos son las plantas, el diseño estético y la funcionalidad para los usuarios humanos. Como consecuencia, la conservación de las especies solo juega un papel menor. Conector Biofílico es una propuesta bio paisajística no antropocéntrica que busca conectar tres reservas naturales ubicadas en el Campus Universitario Rodrigo Facio de la Universidad de Costa Rica: la Reserva Leonelo Oviedo, el Jardín Botánico Jose María Orozco y la Quebrada Los Negritos. Hace un llamado a voltear la mirada hacia otras especies fuera del ser humano; a analizar detalladamente sus necesidades, comportamientos y deseos. Al final cada especie es importante y es parte del conjunto al que llamamos Tierra.
