Antes y después del estalinismo en Costa Rica. Instituciones tansnacionales antiimperialistas (1926-1934)

Abstract

Este artículo expone algunos procesos históricos que han sido explicados solamente desde su aspecto local, sobre todo para el caso costarricense, que se ha visto históricamente desligado en mayor o menor medida de las influencias globales y de la lógica regional. La principal tesis para el caso de Costa Rica es que su proceso es distinto pero no distanciado de los acontecimientos globales y regionales. Lo que explica el surgimiento de instituciones antiimperialistas, así como la aparición del Partido Comunista de Costa Rica (PCCR) a principios de la década de 1930 y su accionar durante ese decenio. Hay un nexo directo entre algunas instituciones transnacionales que surgen en la década de 1920 y la aparición del PCCR en 1931 que no es para nada excepcional, a pesar de que muchos historiadores ligados en mayor medida a estas organizaciones, o inmersos en una historia iacionalista, han tratado de defender un desarrollo endógeno.
