Currently, there are different criteria of a procedural nature regarding the possibility of conciliation in criminal proceedings; whether such possibility should occur in the oral and public trial stage of proceedings , or whether it is limited to the preliminary or intermediate stage. This essay tries to encourage debate on this topic and provide a point of view referring to the victim’s rights and to an interpretation on the legal rules that would authorize such possibility
En la actualidad existen diferentes criterios de índole procesal sobre la posibilidad de conciliar en el proceso penal; si dicha posibilidad se debe dar en la etapa del juicio oral y público, o si la misma se limita a la fase preparatoria o intermedia. Este trabajo pretende motivar la discusión sobre este tema, y dar un punto de vista referenciado a los derechos de la víctima y una interpretación sobre las normas que habilitarían dicha posibilidad.
