Conciliación: previo a juicio oral y público

Authors: García Acosta, José Esteban;

Conciliación: previo a juicio oral y público

Abstract

Currently, there are different criteria of a procedural nature regarding the possibility of conciliation in criminal proceedings; whether such possibility should occur in the oral and public trial stage of proceedings , or whether it is limited to the preliminary or intermediate stage. This essay tries to encourage debate on this topic and provide a point of view referring to the victim’s rights and to an interpretation on the legal rules that would authorize such possibility
