El deber de gestionar el riesgo de conflictos de intereses en la administración pública

Abstract

En la edición pasada de Administrar Lo Público, la autora Arroyo-Chacón explicó los principales resultados de la revisión teórico-práctica de la Gestión del riesgo de conflictos de intereses en la Administración Pública cuando ocurre una situación en donde existe una contraposición entre el deber público y los intereses privados de un funcionario público que podrían influir indebidamente en el ejercicio de sus funciones y responsabilidades oficiales. En la conferencia presentada por la investigadora, se exploró la necesidad de contar con una declaración de conflicto de interés en la función pública, así como existe en la actualidad una declaración de bienes de las personas con puestos de autoridad, esto con el fin de minimizar posibles riesgos en la Administración Pública y su red de relaciones con proveedores de bienes y servicios.
